Next: Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Review: Poetry In Motionĭoki Doki Literature Club Plus is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Switch. If it does not, players may need to share the completed poem with Monika and read her own in return it will be titled Happy End.
The Perfect Poem for Monika achievement/trophy should unlock at this point. Regardless of selection, every word is worth three points each and will result in a perfect score of 60. Every word is either simply “Monika”, an alternate spelling, or a corruption like “M1/2nik”, “Monaba”, “on ka”, etc. She will then open the poem mini-game, but it turns out to be a busted farce. Once going through that opening, Monika will force players to date her with only a single option of “yes”.
In those cases, Monika will threaten a jump scare trick, calmly relent, and then rapidly jump scare anyway.
She can also sense if console players are sharing via the integrated streaming options to Twitch and YouTube.
If the player is streaming or recording with third-party PC applications like OBS, XSplit, LiveHime, PandaTool, Douyu, or Huomao Monika will know. For the former, Monika will read the PC system name or the screen name of those on PlayStation, Xbox, or Switch consoles. How this plays out depends on if the player is going through DDLC alone or has an audience. The second choice is to listen to Monika’s spiel completely. This rewards a ketch of Monika, but will prevent the perfect poem creation. After introducing herself, players will have two options: the first is exiting right out of DDLC and deleting Monika’s character quickly file. Once Monika is fed up with the ruse, she will simply delete Natsuki and Yuri, starting the beginning of Act 3.
Always Perfect for Monika in Doki Doki Literature Club Plus However, this will fail and cause a fake crash within DDLC. Doing so will cause Monika to attempt to give a very personal poem to the player on the final day. Still, players may want to aim for making the first two Act 2 poems for Natskui. But this is simply a trick and Monika still has no score for any words entered. Occasionally, Monika’s sticker will jump up from below the poem book. Both Natsuki and Yuri’s sticker avatar may jump up for Sayori’s words, but none of the scores have changed. Sayori is completely missing, however, her words are still available for choosing. The second playthrough will be noticeably more corrupt and terrifying. This will all end tragically until the completion of the first Act. For now, players will simply need to make poems for the other girls. This will be further lampooned in the daily conversations as Monika will point out how the player’s current poem clearly is meant for Sayori, Natsuki, or Yuri. However, as soon as the poem mini-game loads it is clear that Monika has no corresponding favored words. During the initial run of the game, Monika is seemingly presented as a love interest for the player.
